I'M NOT GOING TO SEE DINOSAUR JR TONIGHT!!!!! DAMN IT TO HELL!
I was so excited about that show & I slacked & didn't get tickets. Oh well.
I just found out that my good friend Josh's little sister was stricken with some undiagnosable stomach thing while in Bermuda & had to be flown immediately back to Boston for treatment. So he asked me to make her a Sweet 16 mixed cd to cheer her up. I was very honored (because he brags on my mixed cd skills) and nervous at the same time. I'm not sure what all to put on it. I know she likes Cake & the Pixies, so that's good. I think I'll start it with an oldie, and my favorite happy birthday, by Concrete Blonde. If she hasn't heard them yet, she should. And I'll throw in some Death Cab for Cutie. Mandi, I may need your help on this one. You know what the kids are listening to these days?!?!
This weekend will consist of my first days off in forever. I am so excited I'm not sure what to do. I know tomorrow I'm going to my friend Nicole's to lay by the pool and be useless. I'm trying to get my roommate to come. (COME!!!) But I think she has friends to visit this weekend too. Sunday I think I'll just go to a movie. I still haven't seen "Land of the Dead", so maybe I'll check that out.
