Chunka Hunka Update
Less than 60 hours until we depart for Japan. Really looking forward to it, cause hell, I never really will myself into any vacation time to start with while I'm at a job. Last time we went, about three years ago, it was more compacted, and we wanted to see everything in Tokyo and we were there for five days, so by week's end we were drained. This time, we'll be gone approximately two weeks, and since we wouldn't have to burn as much time on places that are cool once (business/government areas of the city, for example) and never again, it'll be a more relaxed, easy paced atmosphere.
I haven't had as much time to pack as I'd of liked, as over this past week my time off has been spent acquiring my own studio apartment in the Redmond area. We found this great place at a nice price about a month or two ago, but they were full up. Went on the waiting list, and received a call this Tuesday about both a studio and a 1-bed opening up. We were looking more for a 2-bed+ personally, but with this I'll still be able to make some progress in getting out of my mom and step-dad's hair.
Since then I've been approved given a co-signer, which we've set up and applied for this morning. So, we'll see how it comes up, but it's looking very good. Chances are I'll be moving out around the first week of October. I'll probably get settled and throw some kind of get together in the future, so if anyone's interested, there you go :p
