The Year of Moving On
All right, people. I'm officially out of Retirement. It's time to get back, get cracking and get a grip. This coming year will be a time of great change, for both good and ill. It's a time of extreme polarization, a time of upheaval, and a time of war. At this time in history, it appears we may be approaching a
paradigm shift.
Obviously, the Republican Cabal in the White House reached some sort of Critical Mass in November. Can the Democrats keep up the momentum?
The Iraq Study Group Report--I predict right here and now that the Bush Administration will not implement a single reccomendation in that 160-page document. Not one.
Tomorrow, I begin coverage of all the Presidential Hopefuls.
For now, though, take this one with you. I believe that as the world goes, so go our lives most of the time. 2007 is the first year in a long time I have entered with even a faint, cautious glimmer of hope. I find that my life has gotten a bit brighter since November. I find things changing for the better. I know many of you do too. So, get into the streets and celebrate something, you filthy bastards.
Selah.
