Damn you Eureka!!!!!!!!!
Don't read this if you Tivo Eureka and haven't seen episode 10 yet...May contain spoilers. But if you don't care...enjoy.
Eureka on Sci-Fi is a very wonderful show.
I love the whole aspect of a town full of experimenting genius...in all fields..not just science. It has been on a level of intrigue to me from the start. Creative indeed.
But the last episode I watched made a turn for the worse.
Season 2, Episode 10, Title of the episode-God is in the Details.
They introduced religion. They introduced faith in god and we get to watch the transition of the whole town who has been focused on their goals to googly eyed church goers. Started with the empty church in Eureka and transitioned to a full church of goers at the end. It was just very out of place episode. It is working on the show 4400 because of the turn of events that are occurring. But not this show. Even after the fact that the religious occurrences were proven to be a result of a certain experiment..they all still ended up in church in the end. Illogical choice to include this in their series.
The one thing that I truly thought was a kinda good punch in the end was when they showed the new guy waiting OUTSIDE the church to hit on Jo because she looks hot dressed up in church clothes and Sheriff Jack Carter let the preacher know that he wont be coming back to church to watch a game on tv...and the preacher said she was going to join him afterwards to watch the game. Cute moment. Then directly after that Jack and his daughter Zoe proceed to make fun of the church environment (people snoring and such)...fantastic.
But yeah...overall...it was a downer episode...wish they hadn't gone there...and/or they never go back there. Like a one time deal. grrr...I'm sure they will. DAMN YOU EUREKA!!!!!
