My body is curious in that it rejects almost all antibiotics except for cephalosporins: I have a true allergy to penicillin derivatives (swelling, shortness of breath, the whole nine yards), I get hives from the members of the erythromycin clan, and sulfa drugs make me puke. After much discussion with my GP, I decided to give zithromax a try simply because of the wonders I've seen at work. Um...yeah. Not so wise. No hives, but it is taking absolutely every distraction technique I know to keep from expelling it at a high rate of velocity along with the rest of my stomach contents. Yigh. So...keflex it is, from now on. You'd think I'd have learned by now...

So...tomorrow's the day. Local coverage here starts after the noon news and continues well into the post-game (WTAE is saying they're covering 'til MIDNIGHT--WTF? I guess I won't be catching Grey's Anatomy with the rest of the world, then...). I am headed to a party around one with the people who work my weekend, and we're all ecstatic to A) be off and B) to see the Steelers go to the Super Bowl. We're also nervous as all hell, so if I happen to make slightly-incoherent phone calls to some of you in my cell phone bank, I apologize in advance. :)

I watched "Cinderella Man" tonight. I don't give a rat's ass about what people say about Russell Crowe. I still think he's an amazing actor, a magnetic person, and pretty damned hot in that quirky way of his. I enjoyed the movie even though it had Ron "Opie" Howard's "feel-good" streak on everything. What can I say? It distracted me whilst attempting to keep the aforementioned z-pak in my system.

That's about it for tonight. For the last time of the season...

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!!
