It's so hard to see the rainbow through glasses dark as these

Okay, so tomorrow I should be heading home after this long semester. Mostly good, but a few lonely times, I guess. Next semester should be better, since I already have made some friends in this hall.

Yesterday afternoon my roommate was sleeping, so I decided to go play my banjo out in front of the building for a while, but when I stepped out of my room I saw Andrew and Greg and Carl sitting in the hall, so I sat with them and we chatted for, seriously, hours.

Carl is a native Sweede, and is graduating this semester and heading back to Sweden. I like his observations about America:

"It doesn't make sense to me: I can get five different kinds of cheese, but there are only two political parties to choose from."

"I was really hoping to see more fat people."

"I would seriously take it up the ass for a seven." Actually, that was when he was about to roll when we were playing Monopoly the other night.

He also agreed that Sweedish Chef from the Muppets really does sound Sweedish.

Though the point of this post was not to talk about Carl.

As I was saying, next semester should be even better.

But that's not what I'm looking forward to.

Right now I'm stoked about winter break. See, recently the only thing that has been getting me down about being up in Flagstaff is that, though this city is filled with people I like a lot, all the people I love are down in the valley.

Also, I don't like my roommate. He's a nice guy, but he sleeps all fucking day. And then listens to techno all night.

Now, I like to try and be open minded, and I have a pretty eclectic music taste, but I can't fucking stand techno. I have outlined many reasons why it's among the shittiest music ever produced, but I don't feel like writing them all write now.

He wants to move out next semester, and I definitley want him too, but with our luck, we're gonna be stuck together again.

Coddammit.

Okay, today: Work on the play, work on the vests, nap, pack. Study? Hahaha! Good one.
