It's clear that I've been blind

Ok, so I was born and grew up in the Phoenix Metro area. And my whole life I've wished for snow while watching all the TV shows where the kids all got snow, all the books, all the movies.

This was no small part in my decision to go to Flagstaff for college.

Needless to say, snow is beautiful. And we had a long beautiful winter, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

And for the first entire winter of my life I threw my share of snowballs, built my share of snowmen (harder than Calvin made it seem), and plopped down and shaped my fill of snow angels.

But now the snow is gone and I have a new feeling that I never really had in the first eighteen years of my life on the ol' west side. But that might be because we never had a real spring. As I always said, "In Phoenix we only have two seasons: Summer and cold summer."

But now it's spring. The air is warm, the sky is clear and blue, and grass is getting greener everyday. It's much too much to put down into a silly little livejournal.

And all of this after a long, cold winter is much better than I expected, and excruciatingly perfect.

It's so beautiful.

I love it.
