Tell me about it! I wrote and asked them WHY would they do that, and why would they do it without some kind of notice. x( They said those templates and a few others don't support everything they do at LJ anymore, one of them being the "like" button. O.O Why would you take away SO much over that stupid "like" button? *grrrr* If I really was that into the "like" button, I'd go to Facebook. I am here because I actually like to communicate. I like TALKING to my friends. If someone "likes" something, and I don't see it, OH WELL! Come to my journal and talk to me, for goodness sake. x( It really was rather crappy to do that to us. Especially with no warning, because many folks didn't have their stuff backed up somewhere else. :(
Thanks for posting about this. I had a friend here that could do anything with stuff like this, but she isn't a friend anymore---I bet she could have helped me out with figuring out the original templates. :/
I plan to go to my other genius friends and see if they can help me with this. The thing is they aren't here anymore, either. *sigh*
