It's raining. You wouldn't think rain would delay all the flights, but apparently it has. I like rain... have some good memories of times in the rain. Playing with the dogs. Kissing my first girl in the rain. And... Selena.

Her name's never far away when it rains. Nor is the memory of our one night. Well, the one we admit to.

Finishing up my degree at Oklahoma State, I'd taken a short road trip. Found a roadside café and was drinking coffee because it had decided to rain. I was flirting with her. I always flirt with waitresses. Call it a failing, or a brightening of their day. Plus there were no cars on the road, and no sign of another soul. The cook had taken a break before the rain started, she said he was probably home with his wife.

So I played some music, "Please Come To Boston", it was my mom's favourite song, and I'd come to love it growing up. She said it was her favourite song, and I have to admit I wondered if she'd have said that no matter what I played, but I'm cynical like that sometimes.

Though I was un-cynical enough to keep dancing with her after the music stopped. She felt so nice in my arms, moving against me, and now I better go find the bathroom, or that guy looking at me's going to get more of an eyeful than I want.

Okay, door closed, I can go back to thinking about this. The rain sounds louder here, I guess the lounge is soundproofed or something.

She took off her apron, and we locked the door. She was much prettier in the dress, her curves were hot, and I wanted her so bad. Oh yeah, goood memory, cock's hard now.

I remember her unbuttoning her dress and letting it fall, and then she lay on the counter - I was like, here? And she said there was nowhere else. So I pulled her to me and fucked her. Really well if I say so myself, but I've never had any complaints from the ladies.

The rain ended and I left, was nearly late back to the dorm. But I left her my number. Figured we might see each other again.

Mmmm, that was good. Not quite as nice as a hot, wet pussy, but coming is never bad. Can't think of anyone who'd ever say it was.

Cleaning up, and I always come to the aftermath.

It's never a good idea to try to recreate something good.

She called me late one night when it was raining. I went to see her. She already had "Please Come To Boston" playing when I went in and we danced, but I kept tripping over. I couldn't make my hands work, and hers fumbled on my shirt buttons.

So we figured it wasn't meant to be, and we called it friends, she made me coffee and we ate some cake and had a good talk.

I just always remember that first time, though. Every time it rains, I go back there.

Everytime That It Rains
Written by: Garth Brooks, Ty England, Charley Stefl

Stuck in an airport in Austin, all of the flights are delayed
And as the rain keeps fllin' the mem'ries keep callin' me back
To another time and place
Back to a rainy dy in Oklahoma, she was workin' at this roadside cafe
And it was just her and me and looked like it would be
At least 'till the storm rolled away

I played "Please Come to Boston" on the jukebox
She said hey that's my favorite song
The next thing I knew the song was through
And we were still dancin' along
And with that look in her eyes she pulled from me
Then she pulled off that apron she wore
And with her hand in mine we turned off the sign
And locked the rain outside the door

Every time that it rains I can hear her heart callin'
It rains, I can see that dress fallin'
The storm clouds roll on, still the memory remains
Every time that it rains

One late rainy night I got a phone call
So I went back to see her again
And through the dnce we both stumbled and with the buttons we fumbled
So we decided just to call it at friends
If we ever had a thing now it's over and only the memory remains
Of a roadside cafe on a September day
I relive every time that it rains

Every time that it rains I can hear her heart callin'
It rains, I can see that dress fallin'
The storm clouds roll on, still the memory remains
Every time that it rains
