faster than the speed of...pen?
I think I am finally, finally, finally, finally, FINALLY getting faster with my cartooning. I've reached the point where I'm both reasonably proficient with the graphics tablet and very thoroughly practiced at churning the cartoons out on a deadline (which is not to say my art couldn't stand to improve--there's always room for improvement--but I've got the actual procedure down pat).
I should explain that in addition to Hill Valley, I've been drawing one editorial cartoon a week for the past several months--the latter used to be only an occasional thing, since the newspaper had a couple other editorial cartoonists besides me; but now, for whatever reason, I'm their go-to person.
So, yay. Makes me feel like I've actually accomplished a thing or two in all these months when I felt like I wasn't accomplishing anything. ;)
