Moist is also in a rather good mood, he just pulled off a profitable job and is whistling as he walks in.

The hat catches his attention as he goes by wearing a beautiful three piece suit with a hint of pinstripes, "Elegant hat."

Neal's lips part to show a flashy cage of perfect white teeth.

"Exquisite suit. That isn't from Dolce & Gabbana's spring line, is it?"

"No, a rather good tailor from Sto Lat,"

He reaches for the hat and picks it up to admire the lines, his movements are quick and ever so polite,

"Beautiful color, not everyone can pull it off."

"Sto Lat?"

He tilts his head on an angle.

"Where is that, Turkey?"

When Moist picks up his hat he leans back, spreading his arms along the back of the booth seat. It's a subtle movement, just hinting at territorial.

"Thank you," he grins. "I have the eyes for it, or so I'm told."

Moist's just admiring the hat and turns to really look at Neal and smiles, its a good smile,

"Yes, you do. Sto Lat on the Disc if you've heard of it,"

Then he does rest the hat back on the table just where it was before, its not even creased.

It is a good smile. It's a familiar smile.

Neal returns the smile with one to match, only letting his eyes leave the other man's face for a moment as he sets the hat back down.

"Sto Lat on the Disc," he repeats, pursing his lips in thought. "I pride myself on knowing about every worthwhile club there is, but I'm afraid you've actually stumped me there."

He could have easily pretended he knew precisely what the other man was talking about, and gotten away with it -- for a while, at least. But sometimes showing a little weakness at the right moment gets you more of the information you need. People tend to let their guard down when they feel like they're in control.

Neal's smile gets a smirk from Moist, that's a clever way to react to another world. With an easy movement, he sits down across from Neal,

"Oh, the Disc is another world just one that travels on the back of four elephants who ride a turtle through space,"

He's telling the truth but has a gleam in his eye that dares Neal to call him a liar.

"Please, join me."

The belated request is made with more humor than sarcasm. He's eying Moist carefully, without trying to be obvious about it.

"You know, I think I've heard of it before. Some good friends of mine, John Locke and Henry David Thoreau. Real fans of the Hindi culture."

He flashes him another smile. He doesn't need to call Moist a liar -- his body language is practically shouting it.

Moist takes that as a compliment and there's pity in his voice,

"You must be new to Milliways if you haven't heard of other worlds yet."
