Moist has no idea what a cyber-goth is, but he knows he's never seen an outfit quite like the man is wearing.

He nods while observing the bar, he's wearing a decent quality suit that looks like its been worn slightly too long and he has an air of confusion about him.

Toxic's eye is caught by the man in the suit. He's never really seen clothes like that either, and the air of confusion he immediately chalks up to 'newcomer'.

"Hey." He puts the holopad down, smiling and batting the intrusive...well, it's a tentacle, really...away. "You okay there?"

Moist's eyes widen a good bit at the tentacle,

"This place is very confusing."

"Oh? Yeah, it can get you like that." The slightly glowing tentacle wraps sulkily around his finger before he flicks it off irritably. "Take it this is your first time?"

Toxic grins. He can't help it. It appears even for this place he's a bit unusual...it's a nice feeling.

"Yes, just came in today."

Moist's used to certain kinds of unusual, Milliways seem to combine many sorts.

"Well...first drink's on the house. If you can't see your door, don't worry too hard. It's the...uh..."

He glances at the Window, trying to think of how to put it.

"...Multiverse? Yes. It's the multiverse's way of saying you need a break."

"I've already enjoyed that first drink. The multiverse is a rather fascinating place from what I've seen so far."

Though people are still people, that's just the way things work.

Toxic's face is entirely too open and trusting, though he has an air of barely repressed anger and the feeling that he should be cynical.

He's not, though. It's disconcerting.

"Well, this slice of it is. The name's Toxic." He sticks out his gloved hand - he's gotten good at the whole 'greeting people' thing.

"Alfred Spangler."

Moist's handshake is firm and he makes good eye contact since some people will rely on a handshake to decide if you're trustworthy.

This guy's trustworthy! The firm handshake tells him so. The eye contact...well, Toxic's kinda bad on the keeping of it, so he'll take the narrative's word for it.

"Good! What part of it do you come from then, Mr Spangler?" He grins at him. "Oh...my name's more a description, I should warn you...I'd use something else only...well...I can't...really remember it..."

"The Disc and the city of Ankh-Morpork. Is that dangerous for you?"

"Never heard of it. And me? No, no, not me, other people." Toxic rubs the back of his head - then pulls his hand free of the tentacle-dread-whatevers. "Don't worry, though, it's all under control."
