Allison Bromley occupies a unique place in the school. What with the boom of vampirism she's in a special class. It's like gay parents, transgender-meet a NEW subclass.
Understandably, "Ally" has been acting out. But Charles Bromley, cancer patient turned VAMPIRE, is rich enough to afford people who can pay to get him in to talk to his daughter's guidance counselor. Charles has NEVER understood his child-and he understands her FAR less since turning So. hopefully this Summers girl can maybe shed some light on this.
Maybe.
Charles Adjusts his heavy sunglasses, eyeballing the...girl?
He coughed into his hand, "...You're Miss Summers?"

"Oh! I-I thought -- right. Allison." She drops the pencil back in the pencil holder, and opens her mouth again. And then she just stops, staring at the fangs.

It's lucky Charles has the vampiric senses of a pet rock. His face creases and he removes his sunglasses in a swift motion.
The yellow eyes are offputting. What may be worse though is the concern. The genuine worry, "...Mr. Hoffman has threatened to flunk my daughter."
His gaze hardens at that, predatory, dangerous. Lousy waste of space fat worthless meatsack-
He snarls, "...that's not the half of it. I've heard rumors of fighting...lashing out...apparently this school has a very strong anti-vampire sentiment at this school."

"...Look, we're still getting settled here, my company's opening up a branch office and..."
"....Apparently she got a little irate with a few of her grades. Here." He reached into his suit pocket and removed a folded report, "....He took issue with her choice of defending the villan. She argued her point and recieved an F for her trouble."
"Just what kind of school do you work for? Where creativity is...is...flunked?"

Her lips thin.
"Okay," she says, "first of all, fair and intelligent grading is a lot to expect from any high school, let alone a high school where keeping the death rate down is the top priority, and I don't even have anything to do with grades, so you should take it up with --" Wait, which teacher was it? "-- the . . . teacher."
A beat. "And do you really think bias is the right word?"

"I know I'm just wasting pencil, but this one was looking kind of blunt at the end, really it was, and I -- yes?"
She tries to remember the last thing Principal Wood said. "Are you the gym teacher?"
Reply
There is a pause, "...no." He stares, looking for a chair, "I'm Charles Bromley? ...Father of Allison?"
He seems truly confused, "...Principal Wood assured me..." hmph. Human bureacrats.
"Well." He extended a hand and smiled, showing his fangs, "...it's...nice to meet you at any rate."

"Nice to meet you."

He knows it's the fangs. He may even be enjoying it.

She also closes her hand around the pencil again.
"What brings you here?"

Opens it again. "Did Mr. Hoffman say why she might flunk?"

Wait. She can use the obvious words, because he's a vampire.
"A school that's on a Hellmouth?"

"I was assured that we'd be judged based on our merits. And my daughter.."
He smiles at her, "Well, My daughter's human at any rate. Shouldn't that cover your bias?"
