...Well. He'd just been planning to collapse on his bed, but this'll work just as well. Better, even, as it's not on campus.
Still, there's only so much the change of scenery can do for Angel's mood, so he just finds a vacant couch and collapses on it.
College? Is sucking a lot at the moment.

Mark was actually intending to go to the little filmmaker's room, so when he looks up from his notebook and looks around, he wrinkles his nose. However, upon seeing, Angel, he makes a beeline to the couch. "Angel?"

"...Oh. Hey."
Angel may not sound very entusiastic, but he will never turn down Mark's company. In fact, he could rather use the dose of sanity.

"Hey." Mark plunks down on the couch. "It's still getting to you, isn't it?'

[hermit_of]

There is leaning, and quite a bit of it.
"It's... been a very, very long day." That would be a yes.

[mm_quinby]

Mark reaches over, and wraps his arms around Angel. "You want to talk about it?"

[hermit_of]

"Finally had enough of my one prof's damn brass bias and went off on him."
Mark's heard about the guy before, no doubt.

[mm_quinby]

"Oh, god. What's that bastard saying now? Or is it just more of the same?"

[hermit_of]

"More of the same, but frankly, it's the last thing I need right now. So I told him exactly what I thought of it and left."

[mm_quinby]

Mark hugs Angel tightly for a moment and shakes his head. "No, you really don't need some self-righteous bastard telling you that crap. Idiot's probably compensating for something."

Angel's kinda clinging.
"Well, I did leave him speechless when I asked whether it only furthered his career in the sack..."
And that was kinda amusing, but Angel was in no fit state of mind to laugh about it.

Mark snickers, letting Angel cling as long as needed. "Perhaps that's what he's compensating for. He wants to be good, but he knows he's crappy." Give the boy credit. He's trying.

Well, it's got to count for something. Angel actually smiles a little at that.
"The end of the semester can't come soon enough."

[mm_quinby]

Mark's goal is accomplished. At least part of it. "I really hope it hurries up, for your sake." Mark's very concerned, which is not something he's used to when it comes to Angel.

"It's... if school's not gonna have the decency to be fun I just want it to leave me alone." And that's also something Mark's probably heard before.
"...Thanks. For not leaving."

[mm_quinby]

"I wish I could do more, Angel." He pauses, shaking his head. "I couldn't leave. God, I'd fall apart. You remember last summer. It would be even worse, cause I know you're not doing well, so... yeah."

"Well, yeah, but you've got your own academic crap to deal with, and... I dunno. but I probably would be losing it without you."
