He's in town again, not that Harry knows yet. That said, he'd come in from the Nevernever a little later than he'd expected (he still wasn't quite sure about how time worked there and he did miscalculate on occasion) and he's not about to take what little sleep the guy gets ( Read more... )

There's a boy in a black coat who comes in not long after. The hood's up, as he steps in, but even if you can't see into it, the way he looks around makes it clear he's never been here before.

"I've never been here before; I don't know the lay of things here. It makes it... harder."

"Don't try to trouble the bartender, ese, that's the most important thing. But otherwise, it's pretty easy."

He leans back in his seat and points to the spot opposite him in the booth.

After a moment, he slips into the seat, and there's a clear moment of hesitation before he pushes the hood back, to reveal messy blonde hair, intense blue eyes, and a very clearly underage face.

"What is this place?"

"MacAnally's, kid," he jokes with a grin, "What? Did you just wander out of the Nevernever or something? Think you got some pixie dust in your hair."

"Nevernever?" He shakes his head. "...No. A different kind of Never though," he admits with a bit of a shrug.

"I've never been to this world; I thought that was obvious."

He holds up his hand.

"I wasn't assuming, just kidding. You wanna sit down? I'll see if old Ironjaw over there has something you can drink."

Roxas nods; it might be thanks.

"Nothing with alcohol," he says. Which, if he hadn't stated it already would have been a big fat clue that he's not from around these parts.

He gives the kid a look.

"Nino, I wasn't about to get you anything with alcohol anyway."

And he walks over, staff in hand, before returning with root beer.

"This suit you?"

Roxas takes a sip, and nods. "This is fine. ...I don't know about this world, but in some places, it's not safe for most people to drink anything without alcohol," he explains.
