[Suzie in a bar - Open to all, of course]
The thing about having a portal to a pub in your cupboard - a pub which contains a magic bar tyhat can supply pretty much anything - is it encourages rather lazy habits with respect to bookshopping.
For example, here we have Suzie Malone, in black combat trousers and a baby doll Ozzy T-Shirt, bopping over to the bar and setting down a torn out page from a journalist's notebook. She then laughs when Bar presents her with a small bowl of fruit and chocolate.
"Happy Lupercalia, sweetheart," she says with a smile. "Any chance of some roses for Maria?"
Flowers and books obtained (most of them are fairly thick paperbacks, that look like heavily academic sociology works and have titles like: The Beast Within or Woman and Wolf), she scans the bar and selects a chair by the fire, to read and eat at the same time.
You know, until someone interrupts her.
