She's not the only one with voices.

Harvey likes the woods and the lake. Quiet, peaceful, and thus able to shut up both sides of his mind. No thought can be such a relief, when you usually have two seperate trains of thought trying to shout each other down . . .

And here's someone else enjoying the outside world!

"Hey there," he says cheerily. "Nice out, isn't it?"

"And it sure as Hell beats Gotham City, let me tell you."

You might notice that he's standing with his right side facing you, very carefully keeping his left side in shadow. Do you know your comic books, Kepler?

She always had been more of a novel girl.

"...Gotham?"

"Yeah. Doesn't exist in all realities, sort of a cross between Chicago and New York City?

"Size of NYC, same general area, but way sleezier."

Her mouth opens, and shuts, and then she shakes herself. Weirdass bar at the end of the universe, dear.

"Huh. Okay. Still got people, though?"

"Yeah. Of course half of them work for the mob, and most of the rest are insane . . . we're got a superhero and two supervillains--well, three. But most people don't know about us, thankfully."

"So, you that superhero or a supervillain?"

"Oh, I'm a good guy. Half the time." He laughs bitterly. "Technically, we're a supervillain. Although anti-hero might be a better term--but I imagine most supervillains would say the same. Even Scarecrow, and he just likes to terrorize people for fun."

"Yeah, we. Got a bad case of DID--split personality.

"I'm a good guy. I believe in justice, goodness, law & order.
"I'm a bad guy. I believe in bad luck, hatred and chaos."
