...it seemed a shame, really. For a veteran to be stuck in a hospital ward room on Memorial Day.
Perhaps that is why Murdock found himself stepping out of his room and into the bar.
Huh. So much for the 'party' of chips, dips and bad old movies at the VA. This was way better!
There was a glass of iced tea waiting on the bar and he wandered over, grinning.
"Did ya bust me out?" he teased Bar, leaning lightly against the counter. "Appreciate it."
Then he settled in on a stool, spinning occasionally or swinging his legs.
It was good to be out!
(it's Memorial Day in the US, bring out yer war/vet pups and celebrate! all characters from all periods, worlds, and countries welcome. and open for anyone else too! don't necessarily have to have a military-type pup, but it'd be nice. open til like forever!)
