Leonard McCoy & Strawberry Fields / Star Trek & Quantum of Solace / Barways

May 12, 2009 00:03

Someone has dozed off in one of the armchairs by the fire. That someone may or may not be Leonard McCoy. He's worn out, the armchair is comfortable, and the fire is warm. As far as he's concerned, this is a perfectly good excuse to be taking a nap, given the fact that he's not really losing any time by doing so at the end of the universe.

His dignity is semi-preserved in the fact that he has managed to fall asleep without his mouth falling open. (To the contrary, his chin is tucked downwards onto his chest, his arms are crossed, and he looks for all the world that he might simply be deep in concentration if his breathing was just a tag lighter.)

Fields, on the other hand, is very much awake, and peering around at the patrons of the bar in a manner that suggests nothing but the utmost attention. She still finds the place quite novel, and, holding a club soda deftly in one hand, is pretty much ready to go in terms of making conversation.

She's come in directly from the office, which means she is still dressed relatively formally, although her red hair is still down, and framing her face. Perched on one of the barstools, her legs are primly crossed, and she's doing her best to try to seem as though she isn't half as interested as she actually is. This is not really working so well.
