Tiwa grins at him, she's fairly ordinary except for the complicated henna tattoo on her forearm,

"Captain of what?"

"Ship. Big 'o ship." He grins again. He got to blow up lots of things and save the world to get his ship. No more academic probation for him!

"What's your name?"

She is in a bar! That makes her very legal. Totally legal.

"I'm Tiwa. Does your ship have a name?"

Well age wise, she is sure but there's a better chance she'll just tease him.

"You might know it. It's a little famous now." His grin isn't quite as cocky and sure now; still pleased, but in a much more respectful way as he remembers all that transpired for him to gain his captaincy. "The Enterprise."

A not-as-drunken lieutenant is already sitting at the bar, and when none other than her dear Captain stumbles in, she tries to resist a smirk.

"And here I thought you'd never find this place," she mutters.

Kirk? Grins even more.

"Lt. Nyota Uhura." He salutes her with two fingers still wrapped around the neck of a beer bottle. And looks very pleased with himself.

Now she's resisting the urge to roll her eyes.

"Captain," she says, acknowledging him with a nod. "So you found it out. I should've known better than to underestimate your persistence."

[mm_wicked]

"Yes."

"What did I find out?"

Milliways, at vague drunken first glance, is almost like any Federation bar. Kind of. If you squint.

Because, frankly, it's Kirk and few other people have that kind of timing, the good Captain may catch a Klingon voice announcing 'I am Kloth, Kloth of the Vengeance, and this ship is my prize!' from the screen in front of Tyler.

Look, you don't want to know what cable TV is like in his timeline that makes Klingon melodrama a good choice.
