It's a suitably dark and stormy night on the other side of the door, and the wizard who stumbles through his heartily glad to be out of it. It's bad enough to be separated from his friends for weeks -- and months, in James's case -- but these missions in the rain are intolerable.
His cigarette won't even light.
He'll realize that he's bleeding soon enough; until then he'll be demanding a stiff firewhiskey and a new carton.
