Tiwa remembers Barty and just beams at his daughter as she comes over, her steps aren't quite as quick as the last time they talked though,

"Hello, Barty, who's this?"

Barty beams at her. "This is Mary. Mary, say hello, won't you?"

Mary gurgles and flexes her fingers in what could perhaps be seen as a 'hello' kind of gesture. This is probably not related to anything other than the sound of Barty's voice, but don't tell him that.

"She's beautiful. Do you two want to sit down somewhere?"

Tiwa leans slightly over Mary and grins, putting a bit of sparkle in the air to catch Mary's eye.

"I was just looking for a good seat, yes, thank you!"

Mary makes more gurgling noises and flails a little. Sparkles!

"Um, if you take about two steps to your left, there's a seat."

The gurgling is wonderful so Tiwa hums a little something to make the spell be stronger and far more colorful.

Barty does so, and is seated in a quick moment.

Mary squeals and kicks at the light show. "What's got you all excited, little bit?" Barty asks, oblivious to Tiwa's magic making.

Tiwa just laughs and says with a grin as she keeps the spell up,

"Just a toy I found for her."

Barty grins wryly. "Must be a real dinger. Huh, Mary? Is it?"

He gives her a finger to grasp and gently bounces her arm. Someone's enchanted to be a daddy.

So Tiwa ever so gently shifts the spell so its focused around Barty,

"I'm just glad she likes it."

"Oh, infants always like bright things. I'm assuming it's a bright thing?"

With Tiwa, it'd just about have to be, he thinks.

"Oh yeah, nothing dangerous I promise."

[waysthingsare]

"I trust you," he assures her as he continues playing with Mary. "How'd the university search go?"

Or, considering this is Milliways, it's possible that she's still working on it.

Tiwa blinks and talks a little too quickly as the spell dims,

"Oh, its going fine probably just going to Vic anyway."

[waysthingsare]

"You oughtn't settle," he protests. "You've got too much potential for that."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Not settling really just haven't thought about it for a bit."

She really doesn't want him to worry not with his beautiful daughter here and the spell finally disappears into the air.

Mary settles down and tries to fit Barty's hand into her mouth. He appeases her by giving her his pinky finger.

"Well, I'm sure there's no rush. Just go somewhere you'll be happy, yeah?"
