The scowling young man at the bar might be something of a distraction -- everywhere he goes, an instrumental version of Helter Skelter booms.

Franklin works in a recording studio. Franklin is used to people with eccentric themes.

Sirius, is, however, quite loud amidst the other bar patrons.

It is for this reason that Franklin is watching him traipse around the bar...and it's why he's now tapping out that same beat.

Now he stops to throw some darts, badly, and curse every time they miss. Someone is upset.

The upset introduces some novel minor chords to the theme.

Franklin hates minor chords.

"Hey, buddy, calm down."

And now Franklin's got the annoyed Black stare leveled at him. Little known fact: when the Blacks chose who marries whom, they bred for intimidation.

Franklin so did not sign up for this.

"...That can't be good for your blood pressure is all I'm saying."

Stupid music-hearing abilities, getting him into trouble.

What, you mean Franklin doesn't enjoy dealing with murderous, inbred psychos? He should really pick a different bar, then.

"It's got NOTHING TO DO WITH MY BLOOD!"

SUDDEN CRESCENDOS: DO NOT WANT.

"Geez, man!"

Commence ear rubbing and annoyed looks.

"You're loud enough already," Franklin mutters. "No need to start yelling."

Franklin merely flinches (hint to Sirius: that hurts his ears D: ) and turns back to his milk.

And slouches. Slouches mean he's having a sad day.

Scowl, scowl.

"Oh, don't mope."

Now that Sirius is done yelling, his theme has gone back down to a normal level.

This causes a bit of relaxing in Franklin's posture, because it's a load off. Why's Sirius gotta be so vibrant and stuff?
