Camille ( yellow top, grey pants, casual chic with low-heeled ankle-boots) is sitting at the bar, leaving through a folder. She normally does in Milliways, but for once it isn't related to work.
This is not to say that the former intelligence officer isn't using her professional skills - tracking people in the former Soviet Union isn't exactly easy, after all. Especially after forty years with the only starting point is her mother's name.
Still, from the absent way she's flicking through the pages, it isn't hard to guess that her attention is somewhat elsewhere. It's a tricky business, looking up family. What if she doesn't actually end up liking them?
At least (mostly) living in Bolivia means that they are fairly easily avoided if that turns out to be the case.
