Once again, he finds himself in this strange tavern.

Strange, but perhaps not quite so strange.

Perhaps he will converse with his friend once again, or perhaps he will commune with the trees.

His friend is there, indeed, and greets him from a table not far off, where he sits with a stringed instrument on one knee.

"Good evening, Legolas."

"Well met and good evening, Spock." He inclines his head. "Are you a minstrel?"

"Hardly." A slight smile. "But I have cultivated some skill in music and other arts." Some skill is a humble evaluation. He placed second in the Vulcan music competition, after his own father.

"You have a gift for both music and understatement, my friend. That is quite pleasant."

This guy certainly has an interesting outfit. Not that they're in short supply here, but Kate always finds them interesting regardless.

Presently, the Elf notices his observer and bows.

"Good evening, my lady."

"Evening," she says, cheerfully. It's funny how cheerful this place makes her, though it's not wholly unexpected. When you're camped up with the Others, any escape is a good one. Even if it's a bar at the end of the universe. "New around here?"

"I've been here but once before." He finds a seat, laying his bow and quiver aside.
