Speaking of OCs: there's one not too far away from the friendly-looking guy. He's close enough to read the curious words on the man's jacket. His eyes are narrowed and his mouth is tugged down in a small frown, but he doesn't look unhappy. Just confused.

Amber's good at feeling eyes on him. He looks around and offers the stranger a friendly smile.

"Howdy, friend."

His voice has a very subtle hint of a Southern American accent to it.

Pete's eyes shift from the man's jacket to the man's eyes. "Hi," he replies in a generic American accent.

"You seem nervous, friend. Is there a purple space centipede on my shoulder or something?" He leans an arm on the windowsill and sprawls against it, smirking.
