Has been watching the chair for the better part of an hour trying to figure out if he should tell someone about it or not.

Because surely chairs...don't do that do they?

There's also the faintest twinge of curiousity...but that keeps disappearing with every single unfortunate soul who's tried the chair.

He'll be sitting over here thank you...until curiousity gets the better of him.

"Smart of you," comments the young woman in the blue and yellow jumpsuit. She's left the armor back home in Megaton. "I don't know what it's doing, but it can't be anythign good."

"I've learned not to accept anything from the bar in bar." He chuckles, hand on his coin, "....IT's turning people into animals of course."

He fixes her with a silly grin. What, your chairs don't do that? ours totally do. All the time.

"Well, yes," says Ellen reasonably, "but there's the little matter of how it actually works. I've heard of some fairly terrible things happening to people who've been contaminated with the Forced Evolutionary Virus, but it's nowhere near that fast."

He stares at her for a moment, inner public servant rising to the forefront, "....You think it's some kind of virus?"

He had been hoping that wasn't the case, "...Most things here are magic."

"Viruses don't work that quickly," says Ellen, "or make that much mass reduction, so it must be something else. Magic or otherwise."

He has never shied away from doing anything dangerous-to the point of risking himself so-

...What the hell?

"One of us should try it." Harvey grits his teeth, "I don't know half the worlds that come in here. If it is some kind of virus it'd be good to know and if it's Magic-I've met wizards here."

"I've survived a lot since I left home, but I don't have any stimpaks on me," says Ellen thoughtfully. "If it's harmful, not just strange, I don't have much I can use to counteract it..."

"Could bar provide you with that stuff?"

He's staring at the chair now intently, "...It doesn't seem harmful. I've been watching for an hour now-people just get up as animals."

There is the briefest of pauses before he pulls out a coin and holds it up in his fingers.

"...Heads I try it, Tails you try it."

"Bar's been able to provide about anything else I've asked for," says Ellen, "so..." She glances at the coin curiously, then nods. "Okay."

Ellen's never seen a coin toss in her life, you understand. She's assuming she's dealing with some form of die or something like that.

There's suddenly a massive Snow Leopard in his place.

They, um, didn't have a lot of pictures of those in the Vault. Snow leopards were almost certainly extinct by the time the bombs fell in 2077, given that China invaded Alaska to get their hands on natural resources.
