Zed doesn't particularly care about the new arrivals, but he does acknowledge them. His natural curiosity and needed knowledge of his surroundings makes it necessary to at least give them a look over when he hears the door open and shut.
Abri doesn't like this one bit. Maybe Paul slipped one of his anti-psychotics into her water. It wouldn't be the first time, but still.
She sighs, narrowing her gaze at the bar and walking in. Her hand is still lingering over her holster. She catches the guy looking at her, though, and arches her brow.
"Well, my drinking habits don't depend on anyone else but myself, so I don't have to worry about what anyone else drinks." Zed said simply as he took another drag, which was followed by another sip of his drink.
"None existent a majority of the time. Part of why I personally like this place so much." Some bartenders are so chatty when all he wants is a fucking drink and some space.
"So where the fuck do you get a drink?" Forgive her if she's impatient, she spends most of the day talking to a man who thinks that he's some sort of Zulu warrior when he's a white Afrikaner.
"Oh, good. I am fucking crazy. Figures that it would rub off on me."
She took the beer anyway, though, and took a long drink before groaning.
"Fuck me it's been a long time. The last time I was drinking a beer like this was..." She paused, "well, let's just say that I wasn't drinking it legally."
"You just turn twenty-one then?" Zed couldn't imagine going too long without a drink. He wasn't an alcoholic, but with all the travel and everything, he liked to drink.

"And I suppose the beer is made of super-special special hops?"

"Xolelwa -- Paul -- drinks way too much rum for me to even think about hard liquor."

"Beer." And no, he wasn't going to get a brand out of her.

She shrugged. "Mostly a lot of rum from inside the United States of South Africa, you know?" Or not.
