Edym still notices, and he's getting pretty tired of all the attention. Determined to ignore this one, he takes his sitar off his back and begins checking to see if it needs re-stringing.
"You don't have to believe me," Axel says, ignoring the fact that he's being mostly ignored. "But it's true. I don't know your name, but it's made up of some combination of the letters D, E, M and Y. Isn't it."
"That doesn't really prove anything." Edym murmurs, strumming out a few notes and listening to the quality of the sound. "You could have overheard someone."
"Is there any particular reason you insist on talking at me?" Edym finally asked, looking up at Axel again, a hint of annoyance crossing his otherwise deadpan uncaring features.
Too dark.
Oh Kingdom Hearts.
Axel isn't staring; he's too good at watching to do that, mostly. But he's still watching.

Axel gets ignored until Edym finishes his task - his instrument takes precedence over anyone else, acquaintances and strangers alike.
When done, he looks up to Axel, eyes cold and dark without any recognition in them. But that's to be expected.
"I'd ask if that was a threat."
