"'Nothing, maybe'." Edym repeated, annoyance tinging his voice. "You know, some people might take offense at staring. You're going to need a better reason than that."
"You sound like one." Edym comments, voice flat, before turning away to take his sitar off his back and tune it. A clear dismissal he just expects to be followed.
"Are you still talking?" Edym didn't even look up as he treated the strings of his instrument with the same love and care one would their own child. "Deal with it."
Billy is welcome to try. Edym is completely ignoring him in favor of his music, which he slowly begins to play. And it's ... beautiful. Not even 'beautiful if you're into that kind of thing', it is, hands down, no questions asked, might even bring a tear to your eye - beautiful.
He's met Dilan, several times. He knows what bleaching is.
So, yeah, that's why he's staring.

Even faking it, Demyx never looked so cold, so simply uncaring, like Billy could be a coat rack.
