Way up in the rafters, there's a brief flash of light and puff of blue smoke. There's now another shadow. But if you look close, you'll see that this shadow is boy-shaped and there's a hint of a wispy blue tail.

Kurt's just realized that his appearance generator is on the fritz. Again.
Now, he's less likely to venture down from his hidden spot. After all, he doesn't want to freak people out with his appearance.
