Someone is back.
Or, more accurately, someone never left.
Bart's door still hasn't come back. This is a Problem, because he doesn't like being stuck in one place like this and, though he would not likely admit this as a reason ever, the Kents are probably worrying. (And there's that small matter of the blonde girl who insisted they loved each other and then ran away crying.)
So, maybe it's stir-craziness, or temporary insanity, but Bart has got himself a stack of books from the library on interdimensional travel, and is attempt to Research How To Get Back. This isn't necessarily going very well- Chloe's so much better than the research thing than he is, and so is Carol, for that matter- but he is trying.
Every so often he switches books or leans down to pat Shelby on the head, who is contentedly chowing down on a turtle squeaky toy. They would probably not mind company terribly.
