All Leo wanted to do was sleep.
Sleep next to his beautiful wife in their beautiful home far away from the noise and chaos and try frantically to forget what he'd seen in the car.
Faces, screaming and then a kid-
This is not his beautiful house. This is not his beautiful wife. This is a bar that he has determined is probably a hallucination.
His own son shouting as he stared helplessly at this creature-this thing that shouldn't exist-
Okay. Fine.
I FOUND YOU.
Someone is smiling. It's not him.
Dirty from head to foot, expression grim, he staggers toward the nearest table and drops his head onto the wood.
Not falling asleep.
He'll be trying over here for the next few minutes. Perhaps you'd be kind and not disturb him?
