Jonathan Crane has undoubtedly seen better days.
Nevertheless, it is only immediately apparent to the very observant: in the rumpled suit, tie ever so slightly askew; in the slightly somnambulant pitch to his walk. If he has been here before it doesn't show. He just takes off his glasses, polishes them, and smiles slightly as he moves in the direction of the bar.
He can ask for directions, perhaps, or at least a stiff drink.
