She's being Watched by a pair of bright blue eyes from under a table. They belong to a slender, uncommonly pretty girl of maybe fourteen - not that it's easy to see, Dragon being under the table and all.

But the lady is crying, and she creeps closer to the edge.

Emma presses her fingers against her mouth, curling inward for a moment until she gets a hold of herself. Deep breaths.

She sighs. Presses her fingers into her eyes again. Goddammit.

And Dragon's ability to pick up on emotions is improving, but she doesn't need it to see that the lady is sad.
