Looking up from her home work she sees him walk in.

"Hello?"

He turns with a smile, then an 'a-ha!' look of recognition.

"I know you," he says. "You're one of Mia's friends. I remember you from the wedding."

And she likely remembers him. He was the one who nearly electrocuted the elder Malfoys.

Ginny nods and smiles and looks at him but can't think of his name.

"Yes I am i remember you didn't you almost zap Draco's parents?"

"They would have deserved it, too," Nash says with a scoff. "I've never seen anyone speak about Mia like that. And at her own wedding!"

By the Goddess, even he had accepted it at that point. Before that point! Reluctantly, but still.

"Sorry. We haven't really met, have we? My name's Nash."

He takes his comb out again and spins it idly in his fingers.

It's still fast enough to whoosh through the air.

Ginny smiles as she holds her hand out to him impressed.

"That's rather nice. And yes they really do deserve it. I'm Ginny."

He stops the comb, puts it away, and then shakes her hand.

"Nice to meet you. Good to see that not all of the wizards from the Blue Star aren't spoiled, whiny jerks."

You know, just like he is.

"So, how long have you and Mia been friends?"

Ginny smiles. She does know and grins.

"I don't know. I think a couple years real time. Maybe a year Bar Time it's hard to tell sometimes you know."

She knows that Nash has way more in common with Draco than is probably reasonable?

"Oh right! Time stops at home while I'm here. But if that's the case, how long have Draco and Mia known each other?"

Ginny only knows a little of Nash. She mostly only knew Mia after Draco.

"Yes. I don't know I think about a year. Maybe. Again it's hard to tell with the stop and go time."

"A year?"

At this point, we're not sure if it would be more crushing for him to continue to believe that or to find out that Mia first met Draco when she was nearly six years old, meaning that he never had a chance.

Ginny moves and wraps an arm around him. She doesn't like to see any one hurt.

"But you know Time with the bar shifts. A year here could be a day back home."

That didn't help.

And Nash echoes the narration by saying, "That didn't help."

She looks at him and hugs him softly.

"I wish I could help. You know it's possible I'm wrong on the time."

This is really kind of strange, just randomly being hugged by a girl.

He thought he would have a lot more of that as a hero!

"I guess it doesn't much matter now. She's stuck with him."

A wry smile.

"Guess you have to not know Mia Ausa's famous in order to really talk to her."

Random hugs is the Weasley way. May be Weasley rule Number 1.

"Yeah she is. I didn't know she was famous for a long long time. I am the one that made her hedgehog."

"That little prickly bumbling thing that sounds like a pile of glass? You made that?"

He's equal parts curious and impressed.

"Why?"
