There's an assassin - fully-fledged, now; she literally just passed her final exams before coming in - in the rafters, watching the bar from above.
Rosa had been on her way to a party (as much a celebration of finishing their training as of the fact that they can do this at all, given the time of year) when the bar interfered, and she decided a moment to gather her thoughts couldn't hurt, even with the added risk of bumping into her mother. It's still frustrating, knowing that encounter could happen at any moment and she can't do anything about it, but... well, it's a risk worth taking if she gets a little extra time out of the deal, she's decided.
Eventually she'll go about her business, but for now, she wouldn't necessarily turn down an interruption to her thoughts.
