This man certainly follows the scent.

He's slipped through a door in a back alley of Isfahan that was supposed to lead into the underbelly of a bath house, but now, suddenly, he is in this lovely inn where the mysterious Lady Tiwa resides.

And a wonderful smell of baking, and some strange singing.

"Interesting song, very catchy, Lady Tiwa," says the man, leaning in the doorway.

"Hello, Urquhart, where and when are you today?"

"Urquhart," he says. "Using the name so blandly has a certain something. I like it."

Beat.

"Isfahan, a bath-house, night."

"That sounds pleasant. Has someone been rubbing your sore muscles? You can have a cheese scone when they're cool."

"No," Urquhart says. "I was looking at the corridors underneath the bath, to see where I could get out."

Scouting the place for a job.

"But a cheese scone sounds good. So homely."

"I hope it wasn't too cold in there. Put a kettle on and get some tea going."

Urquhart grins, nonplussed, but then he does so.

"It's lovely and cool there," Urquhart says. "Today was quite a sweltering day in Isfahan."

"Follow me out, then hop back in quite quickly, struck by the desert heat," he smiles, shaking his head. "You'll love your rain then."

"No, thank you, the kitchen's hot enough for me."

"Heh," he says. "Thought so. What other scones are you making?"

"These are date scones, they're my favorite well next to chocolate ones."

"What is chocolate?" he asks.

He approves of dates.

Tiwa tosses him a piece of semi-sweet chocolate that she has out as she's considering baking something with chocolate next, "That."
