[D.I. Peter Carlisle, Blackpool]

Occupying a table slightly off to the right of the bar is Peter Carlisle, a man who looks fairly average and normal as far as Milliways patrons go. Shiny black shoes, neatly pressed trousers, a clean white shirt unbuttoned at the top, no tie, coal trench coat draped over the back of his chair; brown eyes, slightly mussed brown hair, completely bored expression.

Occupying his table is a mess of paperwork, none of which he has any interest in doing, if his expression is any hint. Paperwork is his least favorite part of the job by far. Perhaps, he muses, he should just stop arresting people?

Nah. That wouldn't go over very well.

He sighs and tips his chair back, balancing carefully on the point of one of his shoes.

You might not want to knock into him.

[Scatty, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel & Celtic Mythology]

Seated across the bar, nestled in one of the chairs near the fireplace, is a slightly less average-looking patron.

Do all teenage girls have combat boots that look as worn as hers?

Or hair that red, skin that pale?

Or, more importantly, is it normal for one of them to spend nearly an hour sharpening a dagger's blade?

The answer to all of these is a firm "no."

But Scatty is not normal, and she is certainly no teenager.

[Fletcher Hadley, OC]

And then there is the familiar Fletcher, who is not in the bar at all. Instead, he's outside, seated on a rock near the lake, boots and socks discarded to his left.

He's pretty sure nothing's going to try to eat his feet if he dips them in the water for a few minutes.

Probably.

Right?

His wings aren't out at the moment, but his sleeves are rolled up. Instead of feathers, he's showing off his numerous (colorful) tattoos. What, like you thought he could go one bar visit without attracting some kind of attention? Psh.

[ooc: For the unfamiliar: Carlisle is human and normal save for an oral fixation (and mad flirting skillz), Scatty is ancient and powerful and can kill you in probably a thousand ways (or more), and Fletcher is known as an archangel in his world but he has no qualms with the demons who visit Milliways (unless they give him crap). Post is open indefinitely, tags may be a little slow!]
