Reunions!
It was like meeting everyone again!
After I took a nap (8-1:30) I got a letter from Chris (who is either in California or getting there at this point in time) since I asked him to write one (just like I asked Emily and Carolyn. I ran out of Taiwanese cups after that... sorry.)
Then we went to the library and I found Kevin! In his customary flannel, geeking out over composers. We went to the foreign language section, of course, so that we could start cramming those things in our heads.
Then Katelin showed up! Out of nowhere. So we talked about her East Coast trip, my trip, how I had stayed up the whole night, etc.
Lastly, we went to church and I saw David sitting in his usual pew with his younger brother and his dad. I thought he was in Montana (the way Kevin talks about how the two of them haven't hung out this summer much) so I was a little disconcerted. And I hoped he didn't recognize me. No idea if he saw me. My siblings recognized him though, and Peter was like, why don't you talk to him and stuff. And I said, no 'cuz we don't talk. And he told me I was mean...
Which I probably am. Well, I'm not going out of my way to talk to David in any case. But I have told myself NOT TO BE BITTER. I just have to work on that.
