I don't know why this amuses me so much, but... hahahaha:

in other news, kathy (one of the shaw's managers) was bagging for me yesterday at shaw's. the fun thing about kathy is that she's a BC hockey fan, so I got to gloat about the beanpot a lot. but then, two BU hockey players came through my lane (Redlihs and Siwiec), and Kathy decided to embarass the shit out of me by talking up a storm to them, and announcing to them that I was a huge fan ... that I was in the band. oh! the horror! my face turned bright red and I just kept scanning their groceries while kathy blabbed away. they could tell I was obviously pissed that kathy kept talking, and Redlihs says, "hey, we love the band! we love it when you guys play! I play the trumpet!"
