Soup!
My house smells so good tonight, after I made up a batch of pumpkin soup. I'd forgotten to buy sour cream but it was just as good without it. And I have another two nights' worth in the freezer now.
What else? Oh, the hall where we regularly hold our cat shows has been double-booked for September, and it's us missing out. I've spent the last two weeks ringing around schools etc trying to find another suitable hall but there's nothing available, so it looks like the show will have to be cancelled. I have one more venue to try and if that doesn't work out, I'm pulling the plug on it. Shame, really, because it was going to be the last cat show I ever ran and I wanted to go out with a bang.
