by far the best part of my solo holiday is happening right now: sleepless in seattle in spanish. finally, a movie i know so well that i can actually learn spanish from it instead of watching half-interestedly and confusedly and frustrated by non-comprehension. and sleepless in seattle, while only part of it takes place during christmas, is one of my favorite movies to watch at christmas time. oh, i'm so excited.
plus i had two bowls of cream of carrot and root vegetable soup with brown rice and a side of steamed swiss chard. so i'm feelin' downright awesome!
now, i'm off to seek recipes for christmas cookies (a little late, i know, but better late than never).
