A Glittering Night of Super Stars

A night of stars at Ritz today. My first Yellow & Red D&D and what a smashing night! All the staffs were hyped up on what to dress as, where to buy dresses, what accessories to wear and so on... something i did not experience for the past four years in Big Blue. And best of all, officially we can pack up and all go home at 3pm to doll up for the night. Isn't it great?

So there were Elvis Presley, Madonna, James Bond, Eric Clapton, Gang Traid Brother, Flamingo Dancer, etc. Everyone was a superstar.. each of it's own. And all were very sporting.. going up the stage to play pretty innovative cool and non low-class and not-always-the-same games.

And not forgetting the Board of Members and Directors who were game for everything - like dressing like a 80s superstar (o.. i can't recognise who he is), playing saxophone with the band, and dancing with the "Idol Finalist" in her jig.

O, i must say the Emcee for the night was the best host i've ever had. And he's the flying dutchman! His jokes were on his class of his own - something local yet also understood by the Ang Mohs in my co. And i was never at one point of time bored during the 3.5 hours dinner. It's only a 5 course dinner but in between, we had Idols singing/dancing, games, and jokes. And yes, tune in to Monday's morning express as he'll be talking about this D&D...

And lastly, there were also a handful of folks that were given awards for working for more than 20 years. My god... what a lifetime it was! But i can imagine the smashing D&Ds they enjoyed every year..

werk, fun
