Buy and Eat and Buy and Eat
Do you recall this lingo from the HK Tourism ad (in mandarin)? That's what i did last weekend for 5 days. A and I had a plan to go HK for the longest time - since we both can speak cantonese, we both love shopping and also, we would like to see some nightlife in LKF. Some tots about this trip:
Hostel @ Causeway Bay
Our bookings were not found at the 'reception'. We were not told the pin of the front gate if we come back late at night. The toilet flush is weak - toilet paper could not go down and that being said, we had to poo in shopping malls . The toilet door does not work. It take 4 steps to walk from the door to the other end of the room. Ok, good thing is, it cost only S$35 per pax per night. It is 3 mins away from the MTR. The nearby area is a fashion streets with many happening malls with nice cheap shops that close at midnight.
Best Goose in HK
Yung Kee: Said to be frequently visited by Tony Leung and Leon Lai. Waited half an hour for seats and the goose turns out to be... well 8/10?
She2Wang2Er4: Near our hostel. Cost about HK$25 with a bowl of rice and it tastes heavenly. 9.5/10
Wang2Fu3: The last goose at the airport before we left home. Cost a freaking HK$98 for a small portion and the rice cost HK$12 per bowl! ouch. But it's indeed good too.. just a way bit too oily. 9/10
Clubbing Scene
LKF Hei2Hei2: One of the top clubs in HK. Decent nice crowd, great music and nice settings. However, i was disappointed by female clubber's dressing. By the way, the club got raid by police. Hahhaha...it's quite an experience
LKF Insomia: Exact replica of Chijme's version. The highlight of the night was this super 'hot chick' from China that dances pretty well, but i guess she needs just some makeover to get more hunks over her.
WanChai: it's horribly obscene. Prostitutes pouring over the streets. Nah!
