[Music Pimp Post] Shinhwa
So now that Shinhwa is back, I've been noticing that a few people on my t-list are starting to get more interested in them. And you should. You really should. They are awesome. So I made this music pimp post which highlights my favorite songs from Shinhwa's albums. It's full of spazzing and stuff but I hope it helps you get into Shinhwa's music.

1st Album: Resolver
Ignore the hair. Just...ignore it.
- I love the music to their debut song Resolver.
- But I wish they had debuted with Eusha Eusha because will forever be the jam and I think it's an upgrade. It's so hyper and cute and the kind of song that you'll put on replay. And they're all so adorbs in the music video.
- Sharing Forever is also really good. It has a really awesome 90s flavor to it.

2nd Album: T.O.P
This album existed? The only song I remember is T.O.P (and even then I only remember the live ballad version for good reason). Moving on.
3rd Album: Only One
- Only One is good and the MV is an example of Shinhwa attempting to show off their masculinity which is amusing in this MV because their abs muscles hasn't developed at this point in time.
- Wedding March is my favorite song on the album. It's a ballad and it's so ridiculously cute I can't even. Krystal from f(x) is the little girl in the MV.

4th Album: Hey, Come On
This is where we kind of start jamming.
- Just 2 Be With You is my song. I love the beat so friggin much. It's the bomb from the start.
- After disliking Hey, Come On! I really enjoyed the song. And the music video is pretty cool as well. Simple but cool.
- Shinhwa Knight is a pretty ballad.
- Trippin' is really catchy. I adore Eric's rap.
- Falling In Love is such a gorgeous ballad.
- One of my favorite songs on this album is Hyesung's solo I Swear... he wrote it himself and the lyrics, plus the music, plus his gorgeous vocals make it an all around beautiful song.
- BUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS CD IS WILD EYES. It will forever be the most covered song by Shinhwa and with good reason. It is the shit. Everything about it is flawless. The beat, the chair dance, the rap, the vocals, everything. EVERYTHING.

5th Album: Perfect Man
And we jam a little more.
- Everything about Perfect Man makes it your typical boyband song. The beat, the lyrics, the choreography, the music video. It's a text book boyband song. And it'll make you bounce in your seat the entire time.
- I love Shout so much, Eric's rap towards the end is love.
- Free is a pretty ballad and so is In Your Love (this has more of a beat than Free).
- But Honesty is my favorite track from this album. The Vocal Trio are on point with their vocals and the Rap Trio are on point with their rapping. And I love the beat. It's so chill.

6th Album Wedding
- Wedding is a jam, I love Eric's opening rap.
- Without You is really pretty.
- You is so gorgeous and I love the beat.
- DEEP SORROW IS MY JAM. HOLY CRAP IT'S LIKE PERFECTION WITH ITS SEXY TIMEZ MUSIC. It's one of my favorite Shinhwa songs.

7th Album: Brand New
THIS is where we get down. This album was really good.
- Brand New is forever a jam. I played this song for hours when I first heard it.
- Shooting Star is great too and so is Cheers.
- Liar is a song with Eric and Dongwan and I really like it.
- Time Machine has an old school 90s sound and I love it to pieces.
- Set Free is GORGEOUS. I love the old 90s ballad sound it has.
- All of My… is just amazing. Minwoo composed it and I looooooove it. Jun Jin sounds awesome and Hyesung's voice has such attitude and just ugh.
- Angel is beautiful and I love the rapping. And Dongwan's adlib after "I'll make you smile again I promise you" is awesome.
- U is probably my favorite upbeat track on this album. Minwoo composed it and it's such a jam.
- 2Gether 4ever is my favorite ballad from this album. I adore it.

8th Album: State of the Art (Special Edition)
This is my favorite Shinhwa album. The entire album is SOLID (minus Highway Star).
- I love Your Man and Doobob though they're probably my least faves.
- You're My Everything is cute.
- Chance is a really pretty ballad and Hyesung's adlibs are like candy for your ears.
- Paradise has an early 2000 sound and I love it. Andizzle is my man on this track.
- Throw My Fist is sooooo good! I get really hype listening to it. The raps are god and Hyesung sounds flawless. The remix is catchy too.
- Once In A Lifetime is so pretty. It's a ballad (with rapping by Eric and Andy) and everyone sounds so good.
- Weak Man is so frickin' gorgeous like I can't even. It's so emotional.
- Thanks! is my JAM. Seriously the beat is tight, Hyesung, Dongwan, and Minwoo's vocals are amazing and Andy, Eric, and especially Jun Jin have flawless raps. Jun Jin raps third and he gets me HYPE.
- Why Me is so gorgeous I can't even. It's a ballad with Minwoo, Dongwan, and Hyesung and I love it so much.
- And finally, my favorite two tracks, Midnight Girl and Midnight Girl Pop Ballad Version. Midnight Girl is so amazing. I love the music, the rapping is legit, and the vocals are on point. I had this on loop for hours. The pop ballad version is a Hyesung solo and he did the new arrangement for it. HE SOUNDS PERFECT. /is Hyesung biased

9th Album: Volume 9
I have four favorite songs on this album and each one is worth replaying for days….I mean hours.
- So In Love is my jam. I adore it so much. The beat is hot and the vocals and especially the raps are on point. My favorite rap is Eric's. His "you got me actin' all GOOFEH" is priceless.
- 2 Ma Luv... is the cutest song ever. I love Hyesung's opening adlibs in combination with Andy's rap and then the beat drops and it becomes so epic.
- Destiny of Love is probably Shinhwa's best ballad song. It's ridiculously emotional. Hyesung, Dongwan, and Minwoo sing the shit out of this song and Jun Jin does a nice job too. Eric and Andy's raps are great.
- Run is my favorite track. It's funny because it was my first Shinhwa song and when I heard it for the first time I didn't like it (man was I stupid). Minwoo composed it and he and Eric wrote the lyrics it's so hype. IT. IS. SO. HYPE. Every second is worth shaking to. Vocal Trio sounds amazing and Andy, Jun Jin, and Eric's raps are so AWESOME.

10th Album: The Return
The most recent album from Shinhwa that came out March 22nd/23rd. And man is it an excellent way to come back.
- Red Carpet and Let It Go are okay. They're probably my least favorite songs on the album. I don't have much to say about them.
- Breathin' is really chill and everyone does a great job. I especially love Jun Jin's voice and Andy's rap. Dongwan sounds great too!
- Re-love is a great ballad and I love it. THE HIGHLIGHT IS JUN JIN'S VOICE. He's been so proud of the fact that his singing his gotten better lately and he has right to show off because he sounds so gorgeous.
- Hurts is the promotional ballad for the album and I really like the beat. Minwoo, Dongwan, and Hyesung all sound so amazing. Eric's rapping on this track is a really different style for him (the pacing and his voice changes were strange. he sounds like he's drunk) so it's a hit or miss. Andy brings it back to normal world though.
- Venus is the promotional song of the album and even though I'm so sick of electronic music it's really good. JJ, Minwoo, Dongwan, and Hyesung sound amazing and I love Andy and Eric's raps. The dubstep was irritating at first but I think it fits Andy's rap.
- Be My Love is Shinhwa's disco track and it's a really good attempt because this song is a groove. Hyesung adlibs the hell out of this song toward the end.
- Stay is a really cute song with a beat that is so fun to bounce to. I love Minwoo's voice because he sounds so adorable throughout the song. And Jun Jin sounds gorgeous.
- Welcome is my jam. I love the beat and the lyrics. Shinhwa are so full of themselves in this song but it fits. Andy's "you can thank me, you're welcome" makes me lol every time and I really like Jun Jin's rap as well. Minwoo's "I guess I'm ready now, I guess I love you now" is my fave line though.
- Move With Me is my JAM. It is so good. Seriously. It's so old school mellow Shinhwa and I adore it to pieces. Eric's rap is my favorite part of the song. He is a GQMF. Andy also shows off his swag through his rap. Jun Jin too. I also like Dongwan, Minwoo and Hyesung's voices. Everyone was on their A Game in this song.
- On The Road is my favorite song on the album. It's a song about Shinhwa's friendship and their relationship with Shinhwa Changjo (their fanclub) and it's precious. Hyesung sounds so gorgeous (he really sings the hell out of this song) and Minwoo, Dongwan, and JJ sound great! Eric and Andy's raps are cute (Andy's "my heart, you've got the key" gets me everytime). The music is gorgeous. The piano, drum, acoustic guitar, and strings all work together really well.
