I made egg custard tarts last night from a recipe from
http://chinesefood.about.com/od/dimsumrecipes/r/eggcustard.htm. It was super easy, especially since I used frozen puff pastry instead of rolling my own. It turned out pretty well, although not as deep as I'd like. Next time I'll just have to make a bigger circle to make the tarts taller.
I've really been enjoying my cooking experiments, what with all the kitchen stuff and cook books that we got from our wedding. I think I'll also start taking pictures of the dishes that I cook and start compiling a list of recipes that I've used that have turned out well. I should had taken some pictures from a couple of weeks ago when I had some friends over for dinner. When we get a bigger kitchen, I'd like to get a mixer, and a bigger fridge or freezer.
