In music festival

We got back to Budapest from Venice on Monday and I've been in the Sziget Festival since. It's hot and crowded with people. But the musical line up is pretty good. We watched the Sugarbabes yesterday on the main stage, and last night got to dance to Paul Okenfold's spinning. Tonight they have Busta Rthymes. I found out yesterday that Faithless would be performing on Sunday, which upsets me since Faithless is one of my favorite group.

Venice was very hot also, but sunny the whole time we were there. The scenary is just so pretty, with the buildings and canals running between them and the clothes hanging out of the window and the flowers on the balcony. We took the boat many times. We went to an island named Burano known for their colorful houses. It is a very quiet and charming island. It's mainly residential and not commercialized at all. We got there early evening and already many old people are sitting outside of their doors enjoying the night breeze. It reminds me a lot of Hong Kong.

I can't wait to get back to a proper bathroom though. We took a shower this morning, we had to wait in line for about an hour and the water was ice cold. And of course in the festival there're only portable toilets. The music and party goes on until 7am, last night I couldn't fall asleep until the music had died down. Our tent was also very close to the techno tent, I felt the ground shake all night last night. Maybe tonight we can stay up also and enjoy the partying until morning.
