I has Yukata!, ALL Otakon Goers Please Pay Attention
So, I broke down and finally bought a Yukata. If you're curious, you can view it at this link, http://www.chopa.com/ShopSite/media/new_butterflyl.jpg . Here's what I'm proposing what ALL us Otakoners should do. I know some of you are not from Philly or Baltimore, but if you're going to the con, and up for some whacky fun, I think this would be a good way to get all my con friends in roughly one location, y'know, BESIDES the convention center. And as I don't have everybody's LJ that would be interested in this, if peeps could forward this to other people would be interested, I'd be very appreciative.
The plan is to have a Yukata/Kimono party. I think it would be best to hold this during our usual Thursday night, pre-con dinner. But there are some issues that I need to address, and DEFINITELY need some feedback on.
1.) Not everybody owns a Yukata or Kimono. We could.
A.) Just say everybody attend, if you have a Yukata or Kimono bring it and we'll have dinner like normal. People without a Yukata/Kimono, how would you feel about this?
B.) We have dinner as normal, and people who want to do something after dinner in Yukata/Kimono can do whatever afterwards, like go somewhere for dessert, have a drink, or something.
2.) What time does everybody plan on getting into Baltimore? I'd prefer that we do this after checking into hotels, and getting badges, so all we have to do is relax. With that said, what time are peeps getting into Baltimore, and what time would it be safe to have everybody carry out this Awesome Plan of Epicness.
That's pretty much it. If I forgot to address something, odds are it'll reveal itself in the comments. AND FOR HEAVEN SAKES, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS. I can't read minds... yet, and really want this to happen :)
