it's the annual braising of the meat. it brings me much joy and pride in producing such a great dish that is fairly central to the passover meal. i love feeding people great food.
so yesterday i procured 15 pounds of brisket - i held back from last year (17 pounds), of course i am worried there won't be enough. but it is all in the oven cooking away.
on my journey back from fairway of brooklyn i drove by the new ikea. exciting and slightly horrifying. mostly exciting.
now to listen to my favorite radio show "this american life"
